USDOE Offers by $50 Million for Innovations in Vehicle Energy Efficiency

If you have an notion on how to manufacture motor vehicles greener, and you’re looking for funding for your research, you may be in luck. The United States agency of Energy (DOE) is preparing a funding opportunity for new research projects that will produce motor vehicles have less of a negative impact on the environment and an improved fuel efficiency. The branch will invest by $50 million in these new research projects.

In addition, the US Army plans to contribute $3.5 million where joint development opportunities arise, as part of the Advanced Vehicle ability Technology Alliance with the Energy station.
