Who says boredom’s a poor thing? Seriously, whether it weren’t for boredom, would you even be reading this blog? ‘Cuz I probably wouldn’t be writing it.

Boredom can be the gateway to creativity. And to naps. But for Montrealian Indie Bedi, boredom was a boon, as it led him to participate in a 30-day hiatus on all things “dead animal,” and resulted in

a line of high-end vegan handbags and wallets. Leather is natural, and a by-product, but it is a mess- the process used to tan it is usually hell on the environment, and anything involving taking a living creature’s life should be called morally questionable at best, so these super stylish non-leather bags should have the vegans smiling (finally).
